Jordan Peele’s 4th Movie to Get a Christmas Release in 2024

UNITED STATES: Universal Pictures is preparing a Christmas gift for cinephiles, as Jordan Peele’s next film is scheduled to release on next year that too on a festive season.

It is not the first time that Universal Pictures is teaming up with Peele, the production house earlier released Get Out (2017), Us (2019), and Nope (2022).

Now the production banner shared information about the “Untitled Fourth Film Directed by Jordan Peele” on its release calendar. The film is set to hit big screens on December 25, 2024.

However, as it will be a Christmas season, another Hollywood biggies are arriving on big screens. James Cameron’s much-awaited Avatar 3 and Jim Carrey’s Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will release in the festive season. Both films are scheduled to release on December 20, 2024.

Peele’s upcoming movie will be released after both films, providing cinephiles with a multitude of film options. Only time will tell which film will triumph, but one thing is certain: the entertainment dose for audiences will be off the charts.

Besides the untitled fourth film, Universal Pictures is teaming up with Peele’s production company, Monkeypaw for another untitled film. The new film is set to release on September 27, 2024.

Keeping aside the release date of both films, makers are yet to release the cast details and lead actors. Judging from the long duration of the debut of both titles, any new information will not arrive soon.

The production house’s big-screen adaptation of the “Wicked” musical was slated to release in the same week, but the studio dragged its release date to Thanksgiving.

Looking at Peele’s previous movies, they have birthed a new genre in modern horror with deep messages on social issues, political themes and many more.

His 2017 debut with the psychological horror film Get Out shook the box office, grossing $255 million globally. The film was also bagged the nods for Best Original Screenplay, Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Director at Academy Awards 2018.

Peele bagged the Oscar for Best Original screenplay this could be the most successful debut for any director in Hollywood.

Later in 2019’s, his doppelgänger’s thriller Us bagged $255 million worldwide. The renowned filmmaker’s third film Nope, was released last year in summer. The sci-fi horror movie marked a reunion of Peele with his “Get Out” star Daniel Kaluuya and earned $170 million globally.

Netizens are extremely eager to know what would be Peele’s upcoming film based on, and the excitement level has kind of created hype amongst everyone.
