In 1965, I was in Standard IV, and that was the Board Exam. I couldn’t afford to buy books and clothes. Stark poverty reined me.” In spite of all these, he’s graduated from college.
But, at heart, he wanted to challenge the image of utter poverty and despondency and brought about a change in people, whom he met.
All those who met Joshi Kaka, said, “ he wanted to discover the hidden potential in me, my talents, my passions in order to live life to the fullest.”
And that is exactly what his motive has been. Of finding and nurturing supporting the human spirit and discovering their hidden potentiality in order to uplift them from poverty.
When Transcontinental Times spoke to him, one of the observations of the spokesperson was that Joshi Kaka had a high level of intellectual acumen.
He was clear about what he was trying to convey. He conveyed little, but in that little, he gave a message of humanity and a message of support and camaraderie to one and all.
