UNITED STATES: The new trailer for Disney’s next Star Wars spinoff, Andor, was surprisingly unveiled. Following the finale of Obi-Wan Kenobi, the streaming service has added Andor to its lineup of upcoming shows. The trailer stars Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, who witnessed his birthplace getting destroyed by the imperial Empire.

Andor is a prequel to the 2016 film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which connects the titular character’s quest to join rebel fighters in order to obtain the blueprints for one of the Empire’s most lethal weapons. The spinoff will concentrate on the story before the events of Rogue One.

There will be a total of 12 episodes in the series, the first 3 of which will air on the premiere day.
