JAPAN: Good news for Attack on Titan fans! The highly anticipated anime received a new update. The makers have dropped a new promotional video for the upcoming Special Event 2022.

In addition to the promo clip, the special event also bagged a release date. The video also features the team members set to appear at the celebration event.

Attack on Titan is a hit anime series based on Hajime Isayama’s manga of the same name. The manga series was first published in September 2009 and spawned 34 volumes before concluding in April 2021. Wit Studio created the anime series based on popular manga in April 2013, developing three seasons. In December 2020, Studio MAPPA handled the animation of the much-awaited final season.

The anime series, as well as the manga, both became widely popular due to their action, dark fantasy, and post-apocalyptic themes. The show also received widespread critical acclaim for its outstanding character development and world-building.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 is set to debut in 2023, and before the release, the makers have announced a new special event for the final instalment of the anime. The event will be held on November 13, 2022, at Tachikawa Stage Graden in Tokyo.

The Special Event 2022 will mark the celebration of the upcoming final arc. Kohta Yamamoto, Yuko Ando, and Ai Higuchi, known for the phenomenal background score of Attack on Titan, will perform at the event. The anime’s voice cast, Yuki Kaji, Yui Ishikawa, Marina Inoue, Kisho Taniyama, Hiro Shimono, Romi Park, and Ayane Sakura, will also join the celebration panel.

The Attack on Titan official Twitter handle also unveiled a promotional video. The video showcased all the members set to appear at the special event. Hiroyuki Sawano’s original soundtrack from the anime was also featured in the promotional clip. 

Since the jaw-dropping cliffhanger of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2, fans have been heavily excited for the upcoming final instalment. In April, Season 4 Part 3 also received an announcement video that showcased a short glimpse of the upcoming arc.
