UNITED STATES: The rumor that has been circulating for months has now been confirmed: Walter White and Jessie Pinkman will return in the final season of Better Call Saul. However, there is no confirmation on how the characters will appear in the show.
Aaron Paul confirms the return of both the characters
In a conversation with The Hollywood reporter Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul confirmed the return in a very unexpected way.
“To be honest, I’m such a fan of Better Call Saul that I didn’t initially see how they were going to do it,” he admitted. “But of course, leave it to [creators] Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould and the rest of the writers to devise the perfect way.”
“It’s fun and I think people are going to be excited.”
Better Call Saul is a prequel series to AMC’s renowned crime drama Breaking Bad, starring Bob Odenkirk as shady lawyer Jimmy McGill before changing into his infamous alter ego, Saul Goodman. The character first appeared in the eighth episode of Season 2 of Breaking Bad, and he has since amassed a significant fan base.
Bob Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman, Rhea Seehorn as Kim Wexler, Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring, Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut, Michael Mando as Nacho Varga, and Tony Dalton as Lalo Salamanca.
Not the first time both characters have reprised their role
The characters aren’t making an appearance for the first time in the AMC series. Aaron Paul previously reprised his role as Jessie Pinkman in the 2019 stand-alone film “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.” The critically acclaimed movie also starred Bryan Cranston as Walter White in a cameo appearance during the flashback segment.
Better Call Saul is now airing its final season on AMC and AMC+ in the United States. The last episode of a long-running television series is now available on Netflix in India.
