JAPAN: Given only one month left for the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War release, it can be termed the most-awaited anime among the fans. Ahead of the release, the makers dropped a new promotional video on Sunday, which elevates the fan excitement for the upcoming anime.
Only true Bleach fans knew the sheer joy and excitement of witnessing the best arc’s adaptation after the anime’s decade-long return. Along with the new trailer, the exact release date has been confirmed. The creators also provided an update on new team members and theme song artists.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is ready to debut in October 2022
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is the follow-up to the 2004-2012 anime series Bleach, based on Tite Kubo’s manga of the same name. The manga series debuted in 2004 and ran for 74 volumes, concluding in 2016.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Bood War is set to premiere on October 10, 2022, at 24:00. The anime will be broadcast on TV Tokyo in Japan. The North American premiere of Bleach will be held by Viz Media on October 8 at New York Comic Con. The premiere event will take place before a “simulcast” of the anime, according to NYCC. The Ani-One Asia YouTube channel will also stream the upcoming anime, but it will be available for premium membership users only.
The additional voice cast includes Wataru Hatano as Hidetomo Kajōmaru, Kenn as Berenice Gabrielli, Takahiro Fujiwara as Jerome Guizbatt, Wataru Komada as Asguiaro Ebern and Daiki Hamano as Luders Friegen. Tatsuya Kitani performed the opening theme song, “Scar”, and SennaRin will provide the ending theme song, “Saihate”.
The makers also unveiled the additional members for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. Michio Hasegawa, Sei Komatsubara and Kumiko Takayanagi are confirmed as Chief Animation Directors. Satoshi Sakai, Yoshihiro Kanno and Yong Hoon Chong joined the team as Action Effects Animation Directors. Yoshio Tanioka handled the art direction, while Toshiki Amada handled the art design.
Saori Goda provided the Color Design, and Akinori Mishima handled the editing. Kazuhiro Yamada served as Director of Photography, while Toshihiro Sasaki and Kazushi Goto managed the CG direction for the anime. Yukio Nagasaki, as Sound Director, joined the ensemble cast and Zack Promotion provided the Sound Production for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War.
Besides the additional cast members, the original cast members from Bleach will also return for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. The action-adventure anime will also mark the return of voice actors from Bleach: Brave Soul game.
