JAPAN: Studio MAPPA’s highly awaited, or we can call it the hype juggernaut, finally arrived on October 11, 2022. Our beloved devil hunter Denji made an entry with a bang shattering the streaming sites.

Chainsaw Man is ready for its English debut

Crunchyroll announced the release date along with the voice cast. The anime streaming platform also unveiled the English dub trailer for the series. The announcement of the dub version sends a wave of excitement among fans.

For the unknown, Chainsaw Man is based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s hit manga series of the same name. The manga series was first published in December 2018, and straight from its debut, the series has garnered a variety of readers. Fujimoto’s brilliant art style, plus the horror comedy story elements, make it the manga readers’ favorite.

Chainsaw Man’s second episode was recently released on October 18, 2022, which also opened to a massive fan response. The episode also gained popularity for the accurate depiction of the iconic scene from the manga panel where Power uses her blood hammer to smash a devil by directly jumping from a building.

The scene doubles our experience in the anime adaptation, for which the credit goes to Studio MAPPA. The more intriguing aspect of the series is that it has maintained the gore and R-rated stuff from the manga.

The manga-accurate depiction was assured from the first episode, where Denji transforms into Chainsaw Man and slashes every Zombie devil with his blades. The scene is the pure epitome of a blood bath, as the studio didn’t hesitate to showcase the R-rated elements.

Where and how to watch Chainsaw Man?

Chainsaw Man is currently streaming on Crunchyroll with Japanese audio and English subtitle. In addition to the popular streaming platform, Tokyo TV is also airing the series, with every new episode arriving on Tuesdays. In India, Ani-One YouTube Channel is also featuring the anime for ULTRA membership users (₹ 95 per month).
