UNITED STATES: Finally, Daredevil received his own series under the banner of MCU. After making a brief appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the Man Without fear returns.

Marvel revealed a new Daredevil series titled “Born Again” at San Diego Comic-Con. The show will debut on 2024, starring Charlie Cox as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen. Vincent D’Onofrio also joins the ensemble as Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin. The series will include 18 episodes, making it the longest Marvel show to debut on Disney+. WandaVision is an exception with 9 episodes, whereas the most recent MCU series has only 6 episodes.

Daredevil: Born Again will be loosely based on Frank Miller’s 1986 comic book of the same name. Born Again centres on Daredevil’s identity being revealed to all his enemies. The Kingpin uses the opportunity to settle the score with his arch-rival. Marvel is renowned for the different take from its original material, although some connections to the comic book are expected in the upcoming show.

The Man Without Fear debuted with his Netflix show

Since its premiere in 2015, Daredevil has emerged as a stepping stone for Netflix’s Marvel universe. The series spawned three seasons and paved the way for Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Defenders, and The Punisher. However, since the series terminated in the middle of 2018, Daredevil fans have endured a surge of a let-down.

Various leaks and rumours surrounding Daredevil’s appearance in Spider-Man: No Way began to circulate. This sparked a slew of ideas about our favourite character. Fans went crazy when they saw Charlie Cox return as Matt Murdock in No Way Home, as he was defending a case for Peter.

Following the reappearance of Charlie Cox in No Way Home, we also get to encounter the arch-nemesis of the Man Without Fear in the Hawkeye series. With the icy and psychotic crime lord touch, Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin has made a different impression on the spectators, and he fulfils the perfect opposition to our fierce vigilante.
