Emirates and United Expand Codeshare Partnership, Adds Eight Mexican Destinations to Network

Emirates customers can now fly to either Chicago or Houston in the United States and then connect to various destinations in Mexico

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES/UNITED STATES: Emirates airline and United States have expanded their codeshare partnership, providing Emirates customers with access to eight additional destinations in Mexico. These destinations include Cancun, Cozumel, Monterrey, Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, San Jose Del Cabo, Leon/Guanajuato, and Queretaro, in addition to Mexico City.

Emirates customers can now fly to either Chicago or Houston in the United States and then connect to various destinations in Mexico.

The expanded codeshare also offers more flight options for customers traveling to Mexico City. Passengers departing from these nine Mexican points can access Emirates’ network via Chicago or Houston.

The codeshare network now covers 134 destinations, accessible from United’s U.S. gateways, with nearly 100 additional points across the U.S., Canada, Central and South America, and the Caribbean available on an interline basis.

This expansion benefits travelers from the Middle East, India, South Africa, and other regions, offering convenient connections to popular destinations like India, Israel, the UAE, South Africa, and Southeast Asia.

Emirates recently introduced Premium Economy on its daily services to Houston and operates seven weekly flights between Dubai and Chicago.

Travelers with itineraries on Emirates’ flights can plan their entire trip with a single ticket, enjoying seamless flight benefits. Emirates Skywards members can also earn and redeem miles on codeshare flights with both airlines.
