Switzerland defeated Cameroon 1-0 . All credit goes to the electrifying goal by Breel Embolo. Cameroon dominated the game early on in the match with some impressive forward performances. At first, Switzerland had opportunities as well, but no team was able to score in the first half.

Embolo, however, broke the tie in the second half’s 48th minute with an excellent, collected finish from inside the box. Cameroon has now lost eight of their last nine games in the World Cup after losing to Switzerland in the tournament opener.

Their last victory over Saudi Arabia came during the 2002 World Cup, marking their lone triumph on the sport’s largest stage since the turn of the century. Further, at Education City Stadium, Uruguay and South Korea will square off in the opening Group H match.

While Uruguay, a two-time winner, advanced to the quarterfinals in Russia in 2018, South Korea was eliminated in the group stage but was able to eliminate Germany with a 2-0 victory in the decisive match.

The standout South Korean players in this lineup are Tottenham forward player Son Heung-min and Napoli defender Kim Min-jae. They’ll try to inspire their group and become the most recent Asian team to shock the world at this World Cup.

Both teams will be looking for an early victory in this encounter between Portugal and Ghana at 9.30 p.m. since it has the ability to generate a range of outcomes.
