HJC Unveils Special Quartararo Le Mans Helmet to Celebrate MotoGP’s Historic 1,000th Race

FRANCE: In a fitting tribute to the legendary Le Mans circuit’s 1,000th MotoGP race, HJC has unveiled the remarkable HJC RPHA 1 Quartararo Le Mans Special helmet. This limited edition headgear pays homage to the iconic milestone and is inspired by Fabio Quartararo’s helmet from the 2023 French GP.

On May 14, 2023, the MotoGP roared to life on the storied Le Mans track, marking a monumental moment in the sport’s history. The Le Mans circuit has witnessed over a century of adrenaline-pumping races and remains an integral part of the racing world.

To commemorate the occasion, HJC’s RPHA 1 Quartararo Le Mans Special helmet encapsulates the spirit of this remarkable achievement. The helmet’s design is a tribute to Quartararo’s individuality and style, adorned in his distinctive blue, white, and red colours. Atop the helmet, Quartararo’s signature devil logo and his iconic number 20, featuring a stylized zero with devil horns, clearly identify its owner.

Under the surface, the HJC RPHA 1 boasts a fusion of cutting-edge technology and safety features. Constructed with HJC’s innovative PIM Plus fibre, a blend of carbon fibre and hybrid fibreglass, the helmet delivers exceptional lightness, rigidity, and impact absorption.

The internal multi-density EPS liner, coupled with interchangeable cheek pads of various sizes, ensures a custom fit for optimum safety. Notably, the RPHA 1 stands as HJC’s inaugural FIM-homologated race helmet.

The honour of owning this extraordinary piece of MotoGP history comes at a premium price. In Europe, the HJC RPHA 1 Quartararo Le Mans Special helmet commands a price of 999.99 Euros (approximately USD 1,100), surpassing the standard helmet’s retail cost of 699 Euros (USD 768).

Enthusiasts also have the option to accessorize their helmets with aftermarket additions like a 2D tinted screen for 70 Euros (USD 77) or a 2D iridium screen for 80 Euros (USD 88).
