UNITED STATES: Hollywood’s power couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck exchanged vows for a second time on Saturday in Georgia at the actor’s opulent estate. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who wed in July of this year, are currently hosting a three-day wedding celebration with their loved ones, according to the reports.
On the guest list were Ben’s longtime friend Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barosso, the director of “Clerks,” Kevin Smith, and actor Jason Mewes.
News of the opulent nuptials of the American celebrities broke the day after the mother of the “Batman vs. Superman” actor was sent to the hospital after falling at Ben’s Georgia home.
The “Justice League” star can be seen wearing a white tuxedo suit along with black formal pants in photos from their wedding that are currently being shared on social media by their fan pages.
Jennifer Lopez, on the other hand, was spotted twinning with her husband while wearing a stunning white gown.
In July, fans were shocked when Ben Affleck, 49, and Jennifer Lopez, 53, revealed they were married at ‘A Little White Chapel’ in Las Vegas. The famous couple began dating after working together on the film “Gigli” in 2001, and they got engaged the following year.
After the wedding was delayed, the couple divorced in 2004. Ben Affleck later wed actress Jennifer Garner from ‘Alias’ with whom he has three kids: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 10. He then dated Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus and Cuban actress Ana de Armas, whom he had met during the filming of their movie “Deep Water,” after they finalised their divorce in 2018.
In contrast, Jennifer Lopez wed the musician Marc Anthony in June 2004; they had twins named Emme and Max, who were born in 2008. Eventually, the couple got divorced. And in May 2021, while on vacation in Montana, Ben and Jennifer were seen holding hands, which led to dating rumours.
Jennifer stated that she and Affleck, 49, exchanged vows at A Little White Chapel in her newsletter, “On the JLo”.
She stated in the newsletter that the ceremony was “exactly what we wanted,” adding, “So with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives.”
