UNITED STATES: One of the oldest spacecrafts, Voyager 1, is still operating, and there are no plans to stop using its technology for surveying the Solar System’s furthest regions. The team at NASA has already declared that the malfunction, which recently caused several types of jumbled information to be sent to Earth, has been fixed.

NASA has now released a patch to assure the world that the Voyager 1 spacecraft has already experienced the fix for the earlier problems caused by a system error. The attitude articulation and control system (AACS) of the spacecraft, which keeps the antennas of the space probe pointed at the Earth, is one of the difficulties of the past.

The space agency stated that other than the known hardware issue, which it is still working to identify, there are no other issues with the Voyager spacecraft other than this malfunction. The spacecraft will still resume its regular operations as previously, concentrating on its exploration of the Solar System and adjacent regions for the Voyager.

Voyager 1 is Fit Now

The team concentrated on instructing the AACS module to transfer its data to the proper computer so that it would receive and comprehend what it was trying to bring home, according to Interesting Engineering. Additionally, the spacecraft’s general health is excellent now that this problem has been resolved, allowing it to continue its exploration of the planet.

The Mission

The NASA Voyager 1 spacecraft is still assigned a crucial mission that will result in numerous important space discoveries for astronomers who want to learn more about the Solar System. Even though it is designed to explore the boundary of the Solar System, it can still make other discoveries in space, particularly if it hears a faint humming sound.

Before, there were worries that Voyager 1 would no longer be in the Solar System since the ageing spacecraft was having serious issues and was drifting away from the system without a method to be tracked. After some time, the spacecraft started to respond, assuring NASA and the team that it was still in the same place as before.

Its most recent issue is that it temporarily lost contact with operators, in addition to transmitting a signal that was distorted audio and confusing to the team. The team’s previously hazy data is now something they believe to be a component of one module’s issue, including theories on defective hardware.
