UNITED STATES: Chip manufacturer Qualcomm has introduced its cutting-edge Snapdragon G Series handheld gaming lineup, promising a new era of immersive gaming experiences. 

This innovative portfolio, spanning three tiers (G1, G2, and G3), introduces the Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 Platform as the latest powerhouse processor.

Mithun Chandrasekhar, Senior Director of Product Management at Qualcomm, expressed excitement about the potential of the new Snapdragon G Series. 

The Snapdragon G1 is tailored for fanless handheld gaming devices, prioritizing lag-free connectivity and extended battery life for seamless game streaming, whether from local sources or via the cloud.

The Snapdragon G1 Gen 1 Platform, the inaugural member of the G1 family, boasts a Qualcomm Kryo CPU (8 Core) paired with the Adreno A11 GPU, ensuring high-quality handheld game-streaming experiences.

Moving up the tiers, the Snapdragon G2 introduces full-featured mobile and cloud gaming, enhanced by a highly optimized processor and cutting-edge 5G and Wi-Fi 6/6E capabilities provided by the Qualcomm FastConnect 6700 Mobile Connectivity System.

The first product in this tier, the Snapdragon G2 Gen 1 Platform, encompasses the latest Kryo CPU (8 Core), a gaming-optimized Adreno A21 GPU, and the Snapdragon X62 5G Modem-RF System.

At the pinnacle of this lineup is the Snapdragon G3, powered by the formidable Snapdragon G3x Gen 1. Devices built on this platform promise best-in-class gaming experiences across a wide array of gaming ecosystems. 

The Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 Platform showcases a Kryo CPU (8 Core) and Adreno A32 GPU, offering over 30% faster CPU performance and 2 times faster GPU performance compared to its predecessor.

Collaborating with Qualcomm on handheld gaming devices powered by Snapdragon G Series platforms are industry leaders such as AyaNeo, Huaqin, Inventec, and Thundercomm. 

With these advancements, Qualcomm is set to redefine the handheld gaming landscape, providing gamers with unparalleled processing power and versatility.
