Rick and Morty’s New Enigmatic Motion Poster Teases the Origin of Evil Morty

UNITED STATES: Rick and Morty received a brand-new promo and motion poster for the forthcoming season. The Emmy-winning animated series’ social media handle offered an update on season 6, and a sneak peek.

The sitcom serves as animated series that is definitely not for kids. The R-rated sci-fi series follows the adventures of technological genius Rick Sanchez and his idiotic yet kind-hearted grandchild Morty Smith. The duo embarks on a humorous and perilous journey across the galaxy, parallel universes, and everything associated with higher scientific concepts.

Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon created the adult sci-fi sitcom for Cartoon Network’s nighttime cable TV channel, Adult Swim. The series’ voice cast includes Justin Roiland, Dan Harmon, Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, Sarah Chalke, and Kari Wahlgren.

The upcoming season of the series gets a new motion poster and promo

Rick and Morty Season 5 concluded with a stunning climax starring the favourite fan character of Evil Morty. Since his debut in season 1, episode 10, “Close Rick-Counters of the Rick Kind,” Evil Morty has bagged a tremendous fanbase among viewers, and the famous theme of the persona has attracted a wide range of music enthusiasts.

The official Twitter handle of Rick and Morty unveiled the new promo and motion poster for season 6. Previously, the makers shared the release date of the upcoming season, which set the debut of the series on September 4, 2022.

The new motion poster showcases a lab with a mysterious green chamber. Inside the container, the imagery shows a green egg-like object. The Evil Morty theme gradually plays in the background, picking up the pace as the clip progresses. Along with the tune-in of the strong BGM, the lab catches fire. Based on the complete motion poster, the clip may hint at the origin of the Evil Morty.

In May, the makers announced a spinoff, “Rick and Morty: The Anime”. Takashi Sanok, well known for his work on the film Tower of God, will direct the spinoff, consisting of ten episodes. Vindicators 2 has also joined the Rick and Morty spinoff list. Adult Swim’s YouTube channel has a free stream of the entertaining superhero series.

Rick and Morty season 1-5 is available on HBO Max in the United States. In India, the show is accessible on Netflix.
