UNITED STATES: Thor: Love and Thunder experienced a massive decline at the box office on its first Monday after an intense weekend start, earning ₹5.25 crores. Again, The Chris Hemsworth Starrer saw a drastic drop on Tuesday, with a collection of around ₹4.5 crores. The initial Wednesday results also suggest that the Space Viking Saga is continuing to lose ground at the box office.

The God of Thunder debuted with a bang, delivering an enthralling blend of romance and humour that contributed to a substantial box office success at the weekend. The film has attracted a lot of curiosity since the teaser debuted, most of which can be ascribed to Gorr the God butcher’s involvement. Academy Award winner Taika Waititi’s directorial expands on the Space Viking’s quest after a successful start at the box office.

The Chris Hemsworth starrer continues to lag at the box office

Thor 4 made roughly ₹3.25 crores on its seventh day, which appears to be a significant decrease from its opening weekend. The film starring Chris Hemsworth has now grossed over ₹78 crores.

Box Office India states that the Chris Hemsworth-starring movie struggles to generate profits compared to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The second instalment of the Master of Mystics Arts made almost ₹30 crores in India on its opening day and ₹120 crores in less than two weeks.

The success of Doctor Strange 2 at the box office was greatly influenced by Spider-Man: No Way Home. The movie had Doctor Strange as its main character, and the finale also featured the trailer, which raised the bar. The Thor fandom, however, has a vast gap since the character’s previous appearance in Avengers: End Game.
