INDIA: Ajay Devgn’s directorial Bholaa, finally arrived on big screens. Ahead of the film’s theatrical debut, its makers have held a screening event. The pre-theatrical event witnessed the arrival of lead star and director Ajay Devgn, along with wife Kajol.
The actor-turned-director is known for making high-octane action movies. He joined the director’s chair from U, Me, Aur Hum in 2008. However, his debut film wasn’t enough to prove his mettle as a filmmaker. So, Devgn was back after quite a long time with his power-packed directorial vision in Shivaay in 2016.
Shivaay proved Devgn’s skills as a man behind the camera. The film used clever tactics to sprinkle in a mass action scene, creating a huge grip in Bollywood’s action genre. Last year, he once again acted in and directed the aviation thriller Runway 34. Now it’s time for Bholaa, which marks his fourth film as a director.
Kajol reviews Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa
Meanwhile, a special screening of the film was held recently, and the grand event was witnessed by Kajol and her sister Tanuja, Ajay’s son, Yug, and his mother, Veena Devgn. The event was also attended by T-Series producer Bhushan Kumar and Bollywood actor Deepak Dobriyal.
Kajol reached the screening donning a lime bodycon dress with a white over jacket and trendy glasses, whereas Ajay kept it very neutral; he chose to wear a black kurta. After the screening, Kajol couldn’t resist expressing her thoughts on the movie.
The actress uploaded a picture and penned a review on social media. She wrote, “Must must must watch. Full paisa vasool! Ajay Devgn and I was clapping and cheering throughout! Bholaa releasing tomorrow! In 3D.”
Today, she once again expressed her views on her husband’s film. The actress wrote, “Dear Viewer, we have our very own Hulk aka Singham aka #Bholaa out in theatres from today! @ajaydevgn you have made a seriously rollicking ride! Loved it!”
Bholaa is a Hindi remake of the Tamil movie Kaithi. Despite being a remake the film’s teaser and trailer hinted at a unique experience from the orignal.
