WSCC Celebrates First Anniversary With Grand Social Networking Lunch

INDIA. New Delhi: A Delhi-based non-profit organization, World Sikh Chamber of Commerce (WSCC) celebrated its first anniversary on September 27, with a grand social networking lunch at Pride Plaza Hotel, Aero city, New Delhi.

Exclusively for the close-knit community of Sikhs and people who are associated with WSCC, the social networking meet is a unique platform that facilitates interaction between different entrepreneurs and business owners and helps its members grow their businesses, network with each other and create joint ventures for business expansion.

WSCC was launched in April 2020 and completed one year in April 2021 but due to COVID-19 protocols, the anniversary celebrations were postponed to the current period.

S. Manjit Singh GK, IPS Mrinalini Srivastava, Mr Gaurav Gupta, Mr Jitender Chawla, Madhukar Pant, Mr Sanjay Singhal, Mrs Anu Singh Bagal, S. Gurvinder Singh, Sh. Vijay Chaudhry and other renowned personalities were present to brace the event.

Dr Parmeet Singh Chadha, the founder of WSCC, thanked all the Dignitaries, WSCC Members, core team members, sponsors and associates for making the event a huge success. Dr Chadha shared the WSCC journey while getting emotional, in terms of the initiation, the areas of growth, the expansion of the forum into branching out globally, the causes supported by the forum as well as the future vision of the forum with the audience and gave away mementoes to WSCC members and associates.

S. Manjit Singh GK praised the WSCC platform and compared it to a visionary idea that can transform the Sikh community and contribute to the overall growth of society.

Mrs Srivastava was all praises for the Sikh community for their relentless service during the COVID-19 period and wished WSCC huge success in future.

S. Puneet Singh Chhatwal, S. Dilpreet Singh Grover, Sdn. Ramandeep Kaur and S. Jasmeet Singh Chandhok who are part of the WSCC core team and event team, managed the event impeccably and committed to monthly meetups for its members.

“We stand today at crossroads between transformation or fade into oblivion, so let’s choose transformation together,” said the founder of WSCC.

“With limited access to resources, not everyone can work on their social networking. WSCC has decided to hold hands and support fellow Sikh brethren’s businesses, to support their dream,” he added.

The non-profit organization works on the virtue of ‘Sarbat Da Bhala’, which means “may everyone prosper” or “blessing for everyone” therefore they consider business generating opportunities for everyone and overall growth of the society.
