The attack came shortly after president Mohammadu Buhari warned the criminals causing havoc on the innocent citizens to stop the evil act.

Buhari however encouraged the Nigerian troops to intensify their effort to make sure the activities of the armed bandits come to an end in a short period of time.

Despite challenges in eliminating the criminals, Buhari further assured the Zamfara residents and Nigerians continued support of protection of lives and properties.

Buhari, therefore, tasked security forces to do more to bring an end to the incessant killings in the country.
