AMD Launches the Ryzen 7020 and Athlon 7020 Series of Processors in India

INDIA: AMD, the multinational semiconductor company, has launched its latest Ryzen 7020 and Athlon 7020 series of processors in India.

These new processors are designed for everyday use, emphasizing affordability and high performance.

The Ryzen 7020 series includes two new processors, the AMD Ryzen 3 7320U and the Ryzen 5 7520U.

Both processors boast impressive performance and power efficiency, with the Ryzen 3 7320U claiming 58% faster multitasking and 31% improved application load times compared to Intel’s dual-core Core i3-1115G4 CPU.

The Ryzen 5 7520U is the more powerful of the two, with a faster base clock speed and maximum frequency.

The Athlon 7020 series also has a new member, the Athlon Gold 7220U. The processor offers two cores and four threads, with a base frequency of 2.4 GHz and a boost clock speed of 3.7 GHz.

The Athlon 7020 also comes with 5 MB of shared L2/L3 cache and a Radeon 610M GPU.

The Ryzen and Athlon processors are manufactured on TSMC’s 6nm process, which gives them the power efficiency they are known for.

The latest offering from AMD is also armed with the Microsoft Pluton security processor and other security features of Windows 11, including Modern Standby and the wake-on-voice feature.

AMD claims that the new Ryzen and Athlon processors can give 12 hours’ worth of runtime and come with fast charging support.

The processors are perfect for office work and regular home use, providing users with the performance they need for everyday tasks while keeping costs low.
