Rajmangal Publishers Set to Unveil Book on Corporate Politics

New release by Vaibhav Deshpande and Roshan Bhondekar examines workplace politics and offers strategies to strengthen merit and expertise

Published:

INDIA: Rajmangal Publishers, a long-established book house in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, is preparing to release a nonfiction work that examines the influence of politics in corporate settings. The book, Breaking Politics, Empowering Experts, co-authored by technology professionals Vaibhav Deshpande and Roshan Bhondekar, is scheduled for publication on January 26, 2026, coinciding with India’s Republic Day. It presents an analysis of how internal power struggles affect innovation and collaboration, while suggesting ways to strengthen merit-based decision-making.

Drawing on decades of combined industry experience, the authors identify patterns that, they argue, limit professional growth and restrict organizational performance. Their analysis links office politics to cultural norms, personal ambition and structural issues inside companies. The book outlines consequences such as reduced trust, weakened teamwork and inefficiencies that affect productivity.

Rajmangal Publishers, recognized for its role in North India’s Hindi literary landscape, focuses on fiction, nonfiction, educational content and translated works. Although most of its catalogue is in Hindi, the publisher periodically releases English titles with wider professional relevance. This new book reflects an expansion into themes connected to India’s growing technology and corporate sectors.

The authors propose solutions that extend beyond critique. Their chapters offer guidance on identifying political behaviour, building credibility, presenting ideas effectively and encouraging ethical leadership. The book’s intended readers include business leaders, mid-level professionals and newcomers looking for strategies to navigate complex workplace environments.

Deshpande contributes more than twenty years of experience in technology leadership, currently serving as Chief Information Officer at AIT Global India in Pune. His background includes work across telecommunications, banking, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and logistics. He has held roles at Accenture, FlightNetwork.com, eInfochips and Zeon Solutions, focusing on enterprise architecture and digital transformation. He completed a Management Development Program at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

The authors have announced that all royalties will support nongovernmental organizations aiding orphaned children in India. They describe this decision as an extension of leadership beyond professional domains.

Bhondekar, an Indian-Spanish entrepreneur, brings experience from IT management, consultancy and service integration to the project. Over more than 17 years, he has developed strategies in sectors such as finance, aviation, healthcare, telecommunications and automotive industries. He has also worked in filmmaking and writing, with award-winning short films and several published books that center on resilience and optimism. His dual background adds context to the book’s exploration of communication, trust and organizational behaviour.

Their collaboration emerges from shared experiences in industries where navigating internal politics is often expected. The release arrives at a time when workplace culture in India’s corporate sector is under increased scrutiny. Surveys from global consulting firms frequently highlight issues of favouritism, distrust and attrition among skilled employees, lending relevance to the book’s focus on expertise and transparency.

While some observers may find the authors’ vision ambitious given entrenched hierarchies and competitive pressures, the book positions itself as a practical resource for incremental change through relationship-building and ethical influence.

Rajmangal Publishers, with operations in Aligarh and Delhi, has a record of supporting works that address contemporary social and professional concerns. This title aligns with that direction, even as it targets a broader English-speaking readership.

As publication approaches, Deshpande and Bhondekar emphasize that the book is intended to contribute to conversations about healthier organizational cultures. It will be available through major retailers and online platforms following its release.
