UNITED KINGDOM: Nicola Bulley’s sister has asked people to keep an open mind about her disappearance as the search for her nears its ninth day in the UK. Nicola Bulley vanished over a week ago while walking her dog alongside the river in St Michael’s on Wyre, Lancashire

Search teams from several agencies kept combing the river at St. Michael’s on Wyre in an effort to find the 45-year-old mortgage adviser from the neighborhood of Inskip.

Louise Cunningham said that the police report that said she fell into the River Wyre in Lancashire was false. She asked people to “keep spreading my Nikki’s story.”

The primary theory put forth by the investigators, according to Supt. Sally Riley of the Lancashire Police, was that Bulley had unintentionally fallen into the river while walking her dog.

Along with sniffing dogs, drones, and police aircraft being used, divers from the HM Coastguard, mountain rescue, and Lancashire fire and rescue department have all joined the search.

Riley stated during a news conference on Friday, “Our main working hypothesis is that Nicola has sadly fallen into the river; there is no third-party or criminal involvement, and this is not a suspicious case but the tragic case of a missing person.”

After dropping off her girls, ages six and nine, at school, Bulley walked her dog, Willow, near the river, where she is thought to have vanished within a brief “ten-minute window,” according to the police.

Bulley joined a Microsoft Teams call at 9:01 a.m., which ended at 9:30 a.m., but her phone stayed in the call.

She was last observed by a dog walker at 9. 10 a.m., and at 9. 20 a.m., police were able to locate her mobile phone, which was found on a bench next to the river. Willow was nearby when it was discovered by a dog walker around 9:35 a.m.

They claimed she was dressed in a black Vector coat with long sleeves that to her waist over a black, quilted gilet that was tucked into her ankles. She was described by the police as being dressed in long, green walking socks and tight, black jeans.

She also wore a choker, a light blue Fitbit, and green wellington boots from Next that reached her ankles. She had a ponytail in her hair.
