UAE President Holds Talks with US Senator on Strengthening Strategic Alliance

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: On Friday, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed held a meeting with US Senator Joni Ernst from Iowa at Qasr al-Shati in Abu Dhabi to explore opportunities for strengthening the strategic partnership between their nations, as reported by Emirates News Agency .

During the meeting, the two leaders talked about how the US and the UAE could cooperate to “strengthen global stability, peace, and prosperity for the benefit of all people,” as well as a number of “regional and international developments of mutual interest.”

The key part of the meeting was making commitments to reinforce stability across the Middle East and beyond.

Senator Ernst commended the UAE for its contributions to bolstering regional and international security and stability while emphasising the eagerness of United States leadership to broaden cooperation with the UAE “across various areas,” as stated by the SPA.

Additionally present at the meeting were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun, who serves as the Adviser for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, and Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE Ambassador to the United States, along with the delegation accompanying Senator Ernst.
