UNITED KINGDOM: Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey admitted to having multiple one-night encounters with people in the theatre industry and possibly making some clumpsy advances at them, but he insisted to British police that he had never molested anyone. A London court heard this on Wednesday.

Spacey is on trial at Southwark Crown Court, denying a dozen charges of past sex offences against four men (aged 20-30 at that time) who were involved in a sex-related incident between 2001 and 2013.

The prosecution has accused Kevin Spacey of forcefully grabbing or engaging in oral sex with a complainant while he was unconscious. Spacey denied making obscene sexual remarks to the man who accused him of grasping his crotch through his trousers during a charity event in London. The prosecution has labelled him a sexual bully.

The prosecution presented statements to the jury from Spacey’s conversations in New York and London.

According to Kevin Spacey’s statement, he denied violently grabbing anyone’s penis and demanded damages. The second complainant, an aspiring actor, claims he woke up in Spacey’s London flat to find himself assaulted, but Spacey said he could not recall him.

Kevin Spacey denied engaging in oral sex with anyone who fell asleep in his flat and denied engaging in oral sex with anyone who had not given their consent.

The actor admitted to having consensual relations with aspiring actors and organizing social events in his flat. He claimed numerous one-night stands with theatre world members and could not rule out sexual contact. He also claimed that the man’s solicitors demanded payment of over 450,000 pounds.

Kevin Spacey admitted that he may have made a clumpsy pass at someone in reference to a third alleged victim, a man he met in Oxford who claims the actor assaulted him later at a nearby residence.

According to Spacey’s statement, he denied attempting to grab someone’s crotch while making a pass, but if he believed they were giving their consent, he might have touched them.

Spacey admitted to being “baffled and deeply hurt” by the final accuser’s allegations, a driver who alleges Spacey touched him roughly 12 times. In light of the previous accusations, the actor put up a claim that it was either done for financial benefit or because the man was too ashamed to tell the truth and was “re-imagining” their time together.

Spacey is expected to offer personal testimony when the defence opens its case on Thursday.
